What is a session?

A session is one visitor recording period for one website visitor. Session usage is counted once per session id, even if the visitor sends multiple replay chunks.

Monthly limits

Each plan includes a monthly session allowance. When the allowance is used, new tracking config responses mark the account as out of sessions so the tracker stops sending events and surveys do not show.

Monthly reset

Session counters are grouped by monthly period and reset when a new monthly period begins.
